Knitting on the Rock
Here are the promised photos of the knitting on the rock. It was explained to us that the island we were on was a rock created by a volcanic mountain, somehow. Big hot, big rock, very beautiful!
You can see the blurred image (ok, it was a phone camera, give me a break!) of Knitpicks Dancing being knit into socks with those little US1 DPN's. yeah!

I enjoyed looking at your sock play tourist, but honestly, I think I enjoyed goin' on the 5th grade field trip more..
I'm not sure bein' 11 with a summer before middle school ahead of me was the best it got but I do sorta miss having kids that age. :)
