We cannot hold a torch to light another's path without brightening our own.We have suffered a great loss. "Mrs. G", Sweetpea's teacher this year, passed away on Saturday, April 29, in the afternoon. She was engaged in one of her favorite activities, hiking in the beautiful world of God's nature. She was warm and loving and nurturing, and her goal in life was to inspire her students to want to learn. She always focused on the act of learning, not the "grade" that resulted. She respected her students, she loved them, and she always acted in their best behalf.
She will be sadly missed.

how sad and what a kind tribute! it's nice to know that people notice teachers who are passionate about the learning. how wonderful that sweetpea was fortunate enough to have her as a teacher, even if it was abbreviated. best to you and yours.
